Whitefriars is real ale pub in the centre of Coventry. We have a wide selection of ales, bitters, continental largers, wines and soft drinks. Pub food is availiable at lunchtimes throughout the week (11am - 3pm) and on Sundays a traditional roast lunch is availiable. We have a friendly atmosphere in traditional surroundings for you to enjoy. In the winter months we have a real fire and the summer you can use our beer garden - one of the few in the City Centre.

We are located in the centre of Cov on Gosford Street surrounded by Coventry University. Come and join us for good beer and good times. We have occasional beer festivals on bank holidays in the summer using our outside bar in the beer garden with barrels on gravity dispense.

We are recommended in the CAMRA good beer guide.

Beers we have had recently include Everards Tiger, Martsons Pedigree, Black Sheep Best, Deuchars IPA, various from the Slaughterhouse Brewery in Warwick. We also have Aspalls cider and a slecter of European Largers including Chimnay.
